Bar Cart 101

I recently moved into a beautiful new home in Beverly Hills. The house is located in one of my favorite locations, walking distance from the Beverly Hills triangle, Robertson Blvd, Melrose Avenue, and The Beverly Center. The home is a 1930’s historic with exposed wood beams, oakwood floors, a huge formal living and dining room, breakfast nook, and two bedrooms.

The reason I was drawn to this home was because it is an entertainers dream. The expansive, open layout is perfect for dinner parties and summertime soirees.

One of the first things I wanted to set up was my bar cart. Although I am not a big drinker myself, I know that the staple to any fun party is a great assortment of beverages.

I partnered with Grandin Road, one of my favorite home decor websites, designing my bar cart. I chose their Oak Park Bar Cart, as it has three tray-style service shelves for cocktails, food, decor, everything you need for entertaining. The caster wheels make it easy to roll and position it wherever you need it. I chose to place it in the dining room.

Grandin Road has an incredible assortment of accessories for the bar cart, which are as useful as they are pretty. Some of my favorite pieces are the crystal glassware, wine decanter, and personalized “C” gold rim wine glasses.

Now let’s talk spirits. The bottles I chose for the bar cart are all top-shelf, well-liked spirits with pretty bottles for display. There is something for everyone on there, from Sterling Vineyards Wines, Patron Silver Tequila, Elit by Stoli Vodka, Macallan Scotch Whisky.

Now, I cannot wait to host my first dinner party in my new home. Stay tuned!
